A tapered ceramic hat-shaped shade — the most sculptural of the Verona family.

A tapered, hat-shaped ceramic pendant shade — narrower at the top, flaring outwards towards the open base. The most sculptural of our three Verona shapes; reads as a piece of pottery as much as a light fitting. Same chalk-white glaze and ribbed surface as the Globe and Dome.

Particularly good as a single statement pendant over a small bistro table, in an entryway, or above a kitchen sink where the tapered form acts as a focal point rather than ambient lighting.

Common questions

When should I choose Hat over Globe or Dome?

Hat is the most sculptural of the three — best as a single statement piece where you want the form to draw the eye. Globe is more universal; Dome is more ambient. Hat is best where the pendant IS the design moment.

Can I install just one?

Yes — particularly common. Above a small bistro table, above a hallway console, or as a focal point in a calm bedroom.

What's the bottom diameter?

Around 22–26cm at the widest opening. The taper from the top creates the hat silhouette.

Is it dimmable?

Yes, with a dimmable LED bulb and matching dimmer switch.

Does the ceramic chip easily?

Hand-finished ceramic is more delicate than mass-produced ceramic. Treat as you would any hand-thrown piece — small chips can occur if knocked but the glaze is reasonably hardwearing in normal use.
