A round ceramic pendant shade with ribbed surface texture, suspended on a twisted-cord cable with warm brass fittings. The globe form is the most universal of our Verona shades — works as easily over a kitchen island as it does in a hallway or beside a bed.

The ceramic is a soft chalky white with subtle ridge detail that catches light when switched on. The brass fittings add warmth; the twisted cord adds quiet character without tipping into vintage costume.

Common questions

How does this differ from the Dome and Hat shades in the same family?

Globe is round and the most universal. Dome is wider and shallower, better for kitchen islands where you want more light spread. Hat is tapered and more sculptural — best as a single statement piece.

What bulb does it take?

E27 (standard screw), 40W max. The opening at the bottom of the shade exposes the bulb, so the bulb itself becomes part of the design — we recommend a vintage Edison LED in warm white.

Will three in a row look right?

Yes — three globes spaced evenly over a kitchen island or dining table is a classic install. Mount at the same height, around 75–90cm above the worktop or table.

Can it be dimmed?

Yes, with a dimmable LED bulb and matching dimmer.

Is the ceramic identical to the others?

Made from the same ceramic and finished to the same chalk-white glaze. Subtle tonal variation between pieces is part of the character of hand-finished ceramics.
